Turn announcements on or off#
Song announcements start off unless enabled in the show’s preparation. Use Enable song announcements or Disable song announcements in Live / IRC, or use !songs from your linked IRC account.

!songs statusPer-show setting#
The setting lasts for this broadcast and survives bot restarts. It resets for the next show. Copies of preparations start with it off. Website and IRC controls change the same setting; reload the page after using IRC.
When messages are sent#
Metadata mode announces a new artist/title. Prepared mode announces the song you start. Enabling announcements mid-song waits for the next change. Repeated polls, song selections and retried actions do not send duplicate messages.
Other bot activity#
Carrier keeps recording songs and updating the archive when announcements are off. !np and !track still work. Other station messages are separate. Invited channels also choose whether to receive announcements.
